Ownership Modeling is not always formalized in the plans for a business. The model is simply allowed to evolve. Although that can work, if you understand the options, and the pros and cons of each, you can be 'for-warned' of potential issues that can be very distracting at the worst possible moment (Murphy's Law is alive and well!)
